Oh! This is the bit where I have to write a bit about myself.Well….I am a 22 year old website developer based in London (me in picture). When I was 15 I started a network of music fansites that grew to over 15m monthly page views and i began monetizing these by working with advertising agencies that where moving over the US to setup in London. I worked quite closely with ValueClick an DoubleClick whilst expanding my network to include hosting and revenue sharing with other music sites.In 2000 when the ad market collapsed so did the business model for fansites as people realised that 15 year olds tend not to buy that much online (who knew!) At this point I had to do something with my somewhat scattered knowledge of web development so I began working for other people to help them explore their own online ideas.I moved to Dubai after my A-Levels to project manage a Middle-Eastern news website which aggregated every major news source on the web which covered the region and made it available in an specialist archive for academics. After my contract expired, I moved back to London and went to the LSE to study Sociology. At the same time, I started Complete Creative, a web, print and design agency which grew from just my business partner and I to 6 staff. Since it’s launch 4 years ago we have had over 50 clients including Vodafone, Martell Conjac, J&B whiskey as well as several start-ups, entrepreneurs and small businesses.My interest in social networking has been alive and well for over 5 years now. An early community site aimed at the gay community was my first real experiance of creating a living, breathing, social network. Ever since then i have actively pursued the development of social software which would allow for the creation of rich, social websites that help niche communities to ‘work better’.This has culminated in the birth of a new company called Get On With It LTD in 2006 with two close friends of mine. The remit of the business is broad but we have had an amazing start. We currently have a team of 11 working on our social media startup which will be launching in the next few months.
